Acupuncture works as an effective alternative and supportive treatment modality. It is a safe and natural approach to help maintain and achieve optimal health for over 5,000 years. During an Acupuncture treatment, fine needles will be inserted into carefully selected pressure points along the body which correspond to the energetic meridians (highways that carry energy throughout the body) to increase circulation, alleviate discomfort/pain, and restore the body to a state of balance. Acupuncture is well-received as an effective form of health care to treat stress, insomnia, infertility, auto-immune disorders, pain and more.

Treatments are normally done face up and or face down on a massage table. TDP infrared heat lamps may also be used to warm the body, improve blood flow, and decrease pain. Many patients find acupuncture incredibly relaxing and may even fall asleep, or enter into a meditative state during treatment. If this is your first visit with us, please choose the New Patient Acupuncture Appointment to book your appointment. All follow-up Acupuncture appointments are designed for established patients who have already completed a New Patient Acupuncture Appointment and will continue their acupuncture treatment protocol.

Homeopathy teaches that everyone has unique physical, mental and emotional symptoms that express themselves. These symptoms in the body are there to alert you that something needs to be addressed. If we calm that body’s symptom with allopathic medicine or even natural supplements, many times your body finds another way to express that it may not be done healing.

For example, migraines are not just head pain. Homeopathy teaches there is a reason your body is experiencing migraines. Eczema is just not a skin rash, and so forth. Your body’s symptoms are the actual road map to understanding these diseases or issues. Whether it is migraines, eczema or anxiety, Homeopathy wants to not only alleviate the symptom but attempts to remove the NEED for the body to express itself this way.

A lymphatic therapy treatment at Magnolia is a traditional, light-touch hands-on treatment without oil or lotion using the Vodder method. It includes manual lymphatic drainage as well as the Lymphstar Pro machine. This cutting-edge technology helps break up congestion and remove inflammation faster than manual treatment alone. One session with this machine is the equivalent of five manual lymph massages. It combines physical vibration with sound waves, an electrostatic energy field (EEF), and dynamic wave pulses resulting in a powerful release of excess fluids and toxins. A lymphatic drainage massage will benefit the body by circulating the lymph fluids and can help with weight loss, cellulite, detoxification, and acne, among other things. Lymph drainage is also excellent for anyone who has experienced chemo and/or has developed lymphedema.

If this is your first visit, we recommend starting with a 60 minute appointment as your body adjusts to the detoxification process.

Using a soft touch, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with chronic pain, emotional difficulties, stress and tension related conditions, neck and back pain, headaches, Chronic Fatigue, and Fibromyalgia.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture can improve muscle tone, tighten facial muscles, and increase collagen production. Without going under the knife, superficial wrinkles are repaired, and deeper wrinkles can be significantly reduced. You can also expect an improvement in your facial color while lifting and toning the skin around the neck, eyes, and mouth. Acne, sun damage, and other dermatological conditions may be treated at the same time.

Like any condition with TCM, we use facial rejuvenation to get to the root cause of acne as well. We target scars or breakouts with needles to help the blood flow and healing response. This signals the body to send more blood and white blood cells to the area, focusing on bacteria under the skin. The response also builds more collagen to help with scars and hyperpigmentation. The facial rejuvenation appointment will last 75 minutes and will include facial acupuncture, gua sha or facial cupping. A Facial Rejuvenation treatment uses hair-thin needles gently inserted into specific points on the face and body to boost collagen, lift and tighten facial muscles and reduce wrinkles.

If this is your first visit with us, please select the New Patient Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture Appointment to assess your individual treatment plan. The New Patient Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture appointment will last 75 minutes and will include facial acupuncture, gua sha or facial cupping. All Follow-Up Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture appointments will last 60 minutes.

Microneedling

Cupping helps treat physical pain, deep scar tissues in the muscles and connective tissue. The process traditionally uses glass jars, heated to create a vacuum, and placed on the upper back to relieve acute illnesses such as colds and fevers. Cupping can also be done all over the body to invigorate the flow of Qi and to relieve tension and pain. It is often used for treating upper and lower backache, chronic nausea & vomiting, sciatica, frozen shoulder and more.
